After what seemed like a LOT of delays, a new walk up restaurant is now open in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot! Choza de Margarita is an outdoor margarita bar with a wide variety of drinks and a few food items as well.
The restaurant was originally slated to open earlier in the Fall, but was mysteriously delayed. Some thought the opening could be pushed as far back as 2018. BUT NO MORE! IT’S OPEN!
Located in Mexico, just across from the Pavilion’s main building, the pyramid. The thatched straw roof hut has several registers for better capacity. However, it’s important to note that there is currently no seating available at Choza de Margarita. Whether this will change in the future or not is unknown.
This location will almost certainly be known for its adult beverages. The menu offers three Mexican beers, three hand-crafted margaritas, and three frozen margaritas options. There’s also a non-alcoholic Mexican fruit punch with a mixture of tropical juices and a splash of cherry.
While there are only a few food items at Choza de Margarita, I think a lot of guests will be enjoy the option for walk up Mexican food. The stand offers a pork taco basket, empanadas, and chips & guacamole, each priced at under $10.
