The SpectacuLAB is Now Open at Epcot

The SpectacuLAB, a new stage show, is now open in the Innoventions East pavilion in Future World at Epcot. This new show is presented by Murata, a Japanese manufacturing company that specializes in the production and sale of ceramic-based passive components for electronics.

In The SpectacuLAB, guests get a chance to joins real scientists in a science lab for a series of experiments demonstrating simple principles of science.

The SpectacuLAB theater is located across from Colortopia where the Vision House exhibit was located.

While this show is new at Epcot, I think it will quickly pick up a following. Future World is in need of unique entertainment options as renovations and new attractions continue construction in the parks. I think this show is especially important for the educational side of Epcot. Bringing back an “edutainment” type of show back to the park is in close proximity to Epcot’s original goals laid out by Walt Disney.

The SpectacuLAB is set to show 5 times a day, although some showtimes may change during the holidays.

Are you excited to see another new attraction in Future World? Tell us in the comments below.
